Workshop on Corporate Integrity and Responsibility: Strategies for making Business Engines of Beneficial change held at India Habitat Centre on October 21, 2016
A one day workshop on Corporate Integrity and Responsibility: Strategies for making Business Engines of Beneficial change was organised by FRNV on October 21, 2016. Participants from government, NGOs and private sector attended the workshop. Speakers emphasized that conducting business ethically was possible if the senior management created the right tone at the top. One speaker, Shri D.P. Bagchi, former chief secretary of Orissa, suggested that the government should reduce its stake in the running of public sector companies. This would usher in corporate governance.
